I++DME / ia.cmm workshop 06 group photographOn September 28th, 2006 the 1st International ia.cmm I++DME Workshop has been held.
In the beautiful frame of Villa Marburg, right in the middle of the magnificent German Spessart forest, as much as 30 specialists coming from many different Countries have debated the I++DME subject.

After a short introduction given by the ia.cmm Chairman the Workshop Speakers have given 8 lectures on different subjects such as:

I++/DME Status report.
I++/DME testing and IMIS results.
I++/DME - DMIS current and future interactions.
I++/DME Testing Open Source Library.
++/DME application in power train.
I++/DME application in BIW.
I++DME Application at John Deere (US).
Messtechnik Wetzlar I++/DME experiences.
UGS Tecnomatix I++/DME experiences.
Experiences and expectations.
Future events and strategies.


The discussion that followed each speech confirmed the strong interest that both Users and CMM Manufacturers (including Software Development Companies) share in I++DME. Decision has been made that in 2007 it will be held the 2nd International ia.cmm I++DME Workshop. Furthermore I++DME Interoperability will be practically demonstrated in the ia.cmm booth at CONTROL 2007; the Association participating Members will be:

The organisation of the demonstration will be carried out in co-operation with I++DME Committee.
