ZETT MESS Technik GmbH, measuring machines System provider with experience and tradition ZETT MESS is a system provider for coordinate measuring technology for the engineering and production area as well as quality assurance. The company, which is located near Cologne (Germany), has 30 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of highly precise measurement devices that have a maximum useful life. The company began the production of marking and measuring machines in 1977. The product palette was continuously expanded and adapted to ever-increasing customer demands. Today, ZETT MESS has the largest palette of column measuring machines in the world. ZETT MESS is represented internationally by more than 50 sales agencies. The performance spectrum as a system supplier for mechanical components, electronics, and software includes an extremely broad palette of column and horizontal arm measuring machines as well as individual special measuring machines. The 6-axis measuring articulated arm AMPG is a portable coordinate measuring device, whose range of application extends from quality control on the assembly line to crash-test measurements on hard-to-reach measuring points, to scanning and digitalisation of surfaces in the design area. An additional strength of ZETT MESS is the quick implementation of innovative ideas, which is documented by numerous patents and industrial designs. New materials, such as carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFK) and ceramics – as well as the latest air bearing technologies and laser sensors for optical surface detection – have been a part of the extensive palette of the company for many years. Since 1994, ZETT MESS has been certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and according to VDA 6.4 and DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 since 2001. In addition, ZETT MESS pushes the development of its own high-performance and multifaceted measurement software. The current version, FUTUREX 02, supports all manual or CNC-controlled 3D-coordinate measuring devices, regardless of type and brand. The software palette is rounded out by special solutions for the measurement of tubes (FUTUREX TUBE) or for the model and design area (DigiWin). A perfect service palette – from customer-specific training measures to the conversion and upgrading of existing measuring machines (retrofit) to maintenance and calibration work – fulfils ZETT MESS’s goal of always being a competent partner for its customers.
